このバナーには、EFAの選手、コーチ、そしてアカデミー全体が大切にする価値観が書かれています。サッカーが上手くなることはもちろん大事ですが、それ以上に、人としての優しさや誠実さをチームスポーツを通して学んでほしいという願いが強く込められています。
サッカー指導者はサッカーだけを教えてくれ！とどこからかお叱りを受けるかもしれませんが、あらゆる国の子ども達が入団してくるEFAでは、彼らをチームとして意識させるために、共通の価値観が必要だとずっと感じていました。ただ伝えるのではなく、視覚的に見れる何かがあれば、ポジティブな変化を起こせるのではないかと。
効果があるかは分かりません。ただ何もしないのはあり得ない。課題を解決するために試行錯誤は続けていかないといけません。まだまだチームとして成長できるはず。サッカー選手としても人として前進できるように。
ただ一つ問題が… バナーが大きすぎた… これも学びです😅懲りずにまた小さめのサイズで作ろうかな💦

At EFA, we believe football is more than just a game, it’s a way to grow as individuals. This banner represents the core values we instill in our players: kindness, integrity, respect, and teamwork. While improving as footballers is important, becoming a better person through the sport matters even more.
With players from different backgrounds joining EFA, we need shared values to build a strong team culture. Words alone aren’t always enough, so we created this visual reminder to reinforce what we stand for.
Will it make a difference? Time will tell. But standing still is not an option. Growth comes from learning, adapting, and striving for better, both on and off the pitch.
One small lesson learned… the banner turned out way bigger than expected! 😅 Next time, we’ll go for a more practical size💡
